Bloodmyst is a small island to the north of Azuremyst Island. Azuremyst Island is the starting zone for Draenei characters and which also contains the Draenei captial, The Exodar. This is traditionally the zone that Draenei players will come to come after reaching level 10 in Azuremyst Isle. For the rest of those people who are not Draenei, the only reason for coming here would be to get the appropriate achievement, those being doing the required number of quests for the zone, the exploration and the Noblegarden achievement for the Alliance.
There are no dungeons or raids located on this island, it is purely a levelling zone for Draenei. There's no register feature and no need to give an email address if you don't need to. At Azuremyst I just used an Elixir of Water Walking which works while mounted as long as you don't take damage and just ran around the side of Exodar. Comment by Great help ty all so much for the much needed help with finding the harder ones! Comment by texdel Since no one else seemed to have the trouble I did, I will add my two bits.
Veridian Point is in the northern part of Wyrmscar Island off the coast of the mainland to the northeast; this is not necessarily triggered by doing the quest on top of the mountain on Wyrmscar. Although I was doing the quest achievement for Bloodmyst, I also missed The Warp Piston even though I did the quest there and The Hidden Reef where the Draenei water totem quest was but that has been removed.
All of these are in the north and could be missed even if you do quests in the area. The Warp Piston is the actual building? The Hidden Reef is all the way to the northwest and past the murloc huts off the coast. Comment by auramichelle Okay, although these posts where helpful in exploring the Bloodmyst Isles, some of these places were still hard to find.
Even though most of them you find by simply doing your quests all of the quests, including the hidden ones these two places you have to actually look for, the Hidden Reef and the Tal'athion Camp. Alright to find the Hidden Reef when you complete the quest Raxormaw, simply swim out until it says you've discovered it. Its right there off the Blacksilt Shore. I hope this makes it easier for you to discover BloodMyst Isles than it was for me.
Comment by nuttswoman Quest depends on your race human, elf, gnome In Bloodmyst as a human rogue I am only able to find 55 of the 60 quest for my character. Was informed by other players that sometimes quest will start in other areas and complete in a different one entirely.
I am hoping this is the case. Comment by windjammer72 NO flying anywhere in the zone. Major bummer. Comment by To get to darn just fly from new city in Darkshore you will make it.
Comment by november As Horde, I actually find it easier to find a means of water walking elixir, Shaman spell, Path of Frost , then ride over to Teldrassil from the westernmost point of Darkshore.
On a fast mount i. Of course, if you are lvl 60 and can fly, that makes it even easier. Once in Teldrassil, the boat to draenei country stops at the westernmost dock. Comment by PlaywowEu Comment by I must have fluked it never came across one elite in the whole area. Comment by Here's the fastest way to get there for Horde with flyer: 1.
Fly to Whisperwind Grove in Felwood. Fly to Lor'Danel in Darkshore and Fly along the beach along the fatigue edge and go to 39, Fly directly to the west towards Teldrassil. Comment by This has to be the worst exploration of all the achivements, the reefs are the biggest pains, the hidden reef is off past the murloc's little base just swim out you'll see a sunken ship and will come across it as for bloodcursed, just swim around the isle.
Comment by cerw Thank you to whomever posted a map below of the 3 most difficult spots to find on this island. The hidden reef was indeed a pain to find - it is on the north side of the main island, directly out from the far left of the 3 murloc camps.
Comment by Slipperydip Blacksilt shore is annoying me, I cannot discover it, though it is still on the list of what I need to discover. Comment by SnowRaker Nice guides and tips everyone. Thanks for taking the time to leave these co-ords and maps for your fellow gamers! Comment by Toreadores The Bloodmyst Isle is the worst exploration zone in the whole game at least for me. Reasons for that: -There are too many exploration points 28 points for a small zone like this one.
Even Azuremyst Isle which is little bigger than Bloodmyst has 17 points. These points are not really necessary. Sometimes you've explored everything else and you have to travel from side to side, when you check their locations on internet.
You lose time and it's very annoying. I don't know why blizz decide to put so many points in this zone but it's really not necessery. I appologize for my english if I have some mistakes. Comment by unclevinny This site has a pretty great map of the locations, for those who don't like TomTom.
Comment by Can anyone tell me where is Talon stand? Comment by Now where is the lost fold? Comment by The Lost Fold: 58, Comment by zackiz Anyone know were Tel'arthion's camp is located? Comment by Tel'athion's Camp If you are not using a coordinate mod, here is a quick description of how to find it. Tel'athion's Camp in the the NW corner of the map, just south of the Foul Pool which is near an area heavy in spiders.
You simply follow the river south of the Foul Pool and watch for a single hut with two torches. It is a really small area and easy to miss. Comment by its my favorite zone and the quest where all partys for you is epic. Comment by were is bloodcursed reef? Comment by I suggest leveling to 11 before going here, or just kill every damn monster you see on your path - dont leave any out. At level 12 i found myself out of quests, i checked wowhead, and correctly, most quests are available at Comment by Well.
I think it's best to do all the quest of this island and of Azuremyst. Because there are not many quest in the world that allow you to gain reputation with The Exodar. Comment by where to go after bloodmyst.
Comment by Sinfiend Tabard of the Hand is so awesome, I still wear it as It's looks much cooler than the belf on in Traquillen. Comment by auttiesmalls I agree with those that liked their experience on these islands. I am playing through the game for the first time as a Dranei hunter and found the area to be a great place to get a handle on things, and it is beautifully rendered as well.
Exodar is a little confusing to get around in without the help of the guards, though! After finishing everything here I moved on to Darkshore and cleaned up there, now at lvl 26 and moving southward.
Comment by FlameLazer Probably coolest zone ever. Comment by These two islands are just so beautiful, when i started my first World of Warcraft character draenei paladin i didn't want to log out at all. It has great music, enchanting scenery, exciting quests - and do not forget: at the very end we will even be celebrated and given a tabard to represent our people with. Comment by I'm trying to find Talon Strand Please help! Comment by This is my favorite zone in the game, the atmosphere is just fantastic.
When I started playing WoW I had this image in my head that it wasn't a very beautiful game but when I reached this place with my first draenei priest that image changed : I come back here now and then and enjoy the environment, talk to some lowbies and maybe fish a bit.
Help please. Comment by Allakhazam just follow the red trail of water go around the mountains into axxarien and continue west until you see water elementals and funny looking water and there yah have it foul pool.
Comment by Thottbot Its the lvl starting zone for draenei. Comment by Thottbot I have a Draenei Shaman myself. Bloodmyst is the Draenei zone. Azuremyst is Ahmen Vale is Questing on Bloodmyst isle is very easy. All the quests are within short distance from the main town, Blood Watch.
It is extremely easy to hit 20 without ever leaving to do things like Deadmines, etc. The island is very small, which makes for easy travel.
Also, the Shaman totems are all obtained from the starting islands and most of them can be completed without leaving the isle. The only totem that requires you to leave is the water totem, in which you make a trip to ashenvale.
If you are a shaman, it's best that you pick up your ghost wolf form before you leave. Comment by Thottbot how do u leave this area? Comment by Thottbot I have a hunter, very easy to level to Short distances make it very fast to level, quests seem quite easy as well and drops seem to be better than in other areas for lvls at least for now.
